At UVM, students have the possibility of participating in the Outreach V Program, which incorporates a deeper understanding of the socioeconomic and cultural context of their study abroad experience.

This program requires students to dedicate at least eight hours a week to a foundation that has a partnership with UVM for a given semester, as well as, the successful completion of the Service Learning Course. During the Service Learning Course students will study the economic and cultural significance of the chosen organization. UVM recommends students have a minimum B1 level of Spanish or higher to participate.
